FAQ

Who do you collect debt for?

Although we do not collect the debt ourselves our agencies collect for companies such as Sky, British Gas and Virgin.

Do you share information across clients?

We don’t share consumer data between clients, but we do use the insight we gain from cases to decide that the recovery strategies we instruct are effective and fair.

Who should I contact if I don't agree that I owe money?

If you have received a letter or a call from a debt collection agency, you should contact them directly using the details they have provided.

Are there repayment options available?

Repayment options will be tailored to the individual financial circumstances and policies. It is best to be honest about your position because if you are really struggling for finance there is support you can access.

How do I make a complaint?

You should contact the debt collection agency who contacted you in the first instance. If they fail to meet the standards we require, we will no longer be partnered with them.

What is your commitment to fair treatment for consumers?

We gather as much information as we can in order to act appropriately and in the fairest way possible. Both ourselves, and all our suppliers, are obliged to comply with all equality policies as well as relevant regulatory body rules, for example the Data Protection Act 2018, GDPR, OFCOM rules and the FCA Handbook.

If you use agencies to collect debt, what do you do?

We streamline the process making it easier and less time consuming for you to find the right collection agency as well as collect and organise your data passing it on to the right agency.

How do you know what your agencies are doing?

Our suppliers are managed on a day-to-day basis by a dedicated team. They conduct spot checks and review letters in addition to regular site visits. Debt recovery technology captures data on the activity that is undertaken – for example how many calls are made and at what time of day – enabling clear insight into the treatment of consumers.

Why should I trust you with my documents and private business information?

Why can’t I just go straight to a debt collection agency?

Yes. We encourage you to perform background checks to ensure you are confident in their capability to professionally perform collection service. Also bear in mind the time and effort on your end, it gets in the way of your other work, not all collection agencies have your best interests in mind particularly your business relationships (ours do), and for some DCAs you have to meet certain criteria. Also we keep you updated with how the case is progressing through direct correspondence and on our web platform.

Which debt collection agencies do you work with?

We pick the best agency for your debt. The reason for this is that agencies specialise in different types of debt. For example, some agencies have really good recovery rates for older debt while others have scalable processes in place to handle large volumes of smaller invoices.

Are you regulated?

We only work with world-class and regulated debt collection agencies.

Why should I trust you to deal with my debtor whom I have an important business relationship with?
